FZ35 : Churchill, Winnipeg, and Polar Bears 2009

A trip to the North as seen with the Panasonic FZ35.

I went armed with 3 Canon DSLR bodies (including the Pro Mark III), 4 Lenses & 3 extenders.
Still, I found myself often using the additional fixed lens FZ35 for Memory Shots. This is a great little camera that makes a perfect companion to the "Big Gear". The FZ35 somewhat reminds me of my old love, the unmatchable OLY C-2100uz "Uzi". Uzi photos (up until 2005) can be found throughout my other galleries. This is my first fixed lens camera since then, and I would highly recommend the FZ35.

The bears in this gallery are all different individuals. Hudson Bay was late in freezing this year; so the photo opts were amazing.

what an excellent gallery - I love your comments - and I too would have forgotten about my camera if I had a polar bear breathing on my face or looking at my feet....there's a lot of me for them to eat and I would not want to be their dinner one night!
