History of 2006

The Canon 20D (circa 2005) was the main camera that I used in 2006, my 5th year on Pbase.

In 2006, I added a new second 20D DSLR as a "back up body". Later in the year, a third 20D body was also added as another "back up". That made three separate 20D bodies.

Although two of the original 3 still worked, the Olympus C-2100uz was finally completely retired from use.

The Nikon Coolpix 4500 "Bridge Camera" very briefly entered service to be used for digiscope photography along with my 85mm Zeiss scope. However, once I got the Canon 600mm prime lens shortly afterwards, this combo was never again used.

Four new lenses were added:
Canon EF 600mm f/4 L IS USM
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM and
Sigma 150mm f/2.8 APO EX DG Macro HSM.

So was the Kenko Pro 300 DG 1.4x Tele extender.

All the below images are from the Canon 20D.
