Education and skills were the two biggest reasons for me joining the Navy. Not travel. But now that I have experience the travel part of it I do kind of enjoy it. It was tour day and I shelled out the $83 to go to Ancient Corinth and Mycenae. While I was originally hesitant about shelling out the big buck for a tour because I had been to Athens before and know that it is pretty easy to get around town this trip may have been worth it as Corinth and Mycenae are not on any train route and wouldn’t a taxi be cheap. Unlike some of the other tours, ours only had 30 people on it so the crowd wasn’t bad and you only had to worry about the same two or three people being late on every stop.
