Waiting out the storm.
Tot soccer started last week for Cameron. I distinctly remember Coach Keith saying that soccer is played in all weather conditions except thunder and lightning. Today when we woke up we quickly checked the weather for this morningís soccer game. No thunderstorms were forecast so we knew soccer was going to happen. Arrangements were made and we were ready to go. Then we get a call from Coach Keith.
No tot soccer today. Bummer.
We were happy that one of us didnít get stuck outside standing in the rain for an hour of soccer practice. There will be plenty of times in the future that we will have to do it because the kids want to play. Today, I could tell that Cameron really could care less about it.
Kim went to the mall to return some clothes so I was home alone with the kids. I was busy working on the entertainment unit when I went to go check on Emma. She had put on Cameronís shin guards and cleats. It didnít really match the skirt that she was wearing but it makes a good photo of the day. Maybe next year she will be ready for soccer.
I just hope that her parentís are ready for that.
