Very nice work! I have been trying to decide between the 18-200 len or the 70-300. Sounds like the 70-300 you really prefer. I have nikon 80-200 2.8 (you are right, it is a beautiful lens) and nikon 24-85 2.8/4.
Really looking at tokina pro 11-16, have the nikon 18-35.
Nice cars, great portraits -great skin color. Are you using diffused flash on your outdoors portraits? I really like them!

Did they stop you while you photographed in Charlotte? I live here and do magazine work, and I have been followed every time I go up town. I have been been on several trips to town, by building security that you can't photograph this building. I was told on my last trip that you can't photograph any building in up town Charlotte, by a building security person. I asked a policeman out side of a bank, and he said I could photograph anything as long as I stayed on the sidewalks.
