It's been three years since the last significant flower bloom on the Arizona desert. With
a word of a great display in progress and a day in hand earlier this year,
I went to two of my favorite poppy locations, Lake Pleasant and Picacho Peak. While
Picacho was a bit past peak at the time, the flowers at Lake Pleasant were absolutely
wonderful. The skies were marvelous, the weather beautiful, and the company great
(had my son with me).

So here's my variations on the humble, but glorious poppy. Drop a note if you have any
