After one of the heaviest snowstorms in recent history in Flagstaff (38"), I hustled down to Sedona before sunrise with hope of catching some heavy snow on the Red Rocks. Unfortunately, the snow level was mostly above Sedona, which left some of my favorite areas dripping wet, and certainly not white! This high-contrast black and white image gives a sense of the bleakness of that morning - I was hoping for a winter wonderland, but was greeted by a landscape that only a large fresh cup of coffee (Kenya AA, of course) could warm me up to!
