More photographs from one of the most breathtaking places in the world, taken during a few trips
through Death Valley this fall. I visited three times; twice passing through to other locations,
and once on a three day family camping trip. These images were never meant to be shown together
in a gallery, but they all came together as I was organizing my photos from this Fall. For the
most part, I shot these with an eye toward more intimate details of the landscape; interesting
shapes, contrasts, shadows, etc. Simplicity - in a complex environment. What struck me as I
looked at this collection of images was the diversity of colors which the Death Valley landscape
achieves - it truly is striking.
