It was a difficult Autumn for me, and when I had time to look for - create - images...the Fall colors were elusive at best.
Poor weather and uncooperative schedules kept me from going to most of the places I wanted to visit this year.
Experimenting with some alternate shooting techniques, I found a method which really captured the essence of the trees
when I did have an opportunity to shoot. This has turned into one of my favorite bodies of work this year. All of the images
here are as shot, straight out of the camera without any significant post-processing. Blurred this way, the photographs have
an added dimension of depth, of feeling, of abstraction which brings more out of each scene than the
