Rock Creek Station State Historical Park, Nebraska

(incidently the dip in the earth to the right of wagon was caused by tens of thousands of wagons passing through the area 150 years ago.)

Interesting bit of history. From what I've read and a recent movie I saw, I can't believe the endurance these travelers had, at least the ones that made it.
