Kanam Estate, India

A stopover between Periyar and Cochin. The Serenity Hotel is situated in the middle of a rubber plantation, and is the original plantation owner's residence. When he became too old to run the estate he retired to Bangalore, and the house was converted into a small hotel. It has 6 rooms, and it is like being a house guest in a very pleasant house.
