Cochin (or Kochi) India

Cochin, or Kochi, is in Kerala, one of the southern Indian states. It isn't "typically" Indian, the climate is sub-tropical, and the state is one of the more wealthy areas of the sub-continent.

We have stayed 3 times in Fort Cochin, staying at the Brunton Boatyard Hotel. It is obvious how quickly it is developing into a major tourist centre, both for overseas & Indian visitors.
