Iris_0680_01

Montz, Louisiana

This iris under a crape myrtle tree was protected from the rain yesterday and the sun today. Of all the flower shot I took today this was the one I liked the most.

I sure like the way this turned out, almost looks like a painting. Wonderful photo.

I can see why. Gorgeous colors and detail. Looks very tiny and almost like an iris.

That blue is so perfect & your shot reminds me of a something that may have been painted by Margaret Olley, a brilliant interior still life artist from Australia. Voting.

It does look like a watercolor. Beautiful, Breland.

Very beautiful, Breland. It looks like a Monet. I scrounged around in my garden (way up there in Montz, Scott), but mine were all beaten by yesterday's rain, too.

Looks like it was painted with oils Breland, nice one. Ours haven't even started yet.
