Watch the Fog Roll In

Spillway

This series of pictures will give you an idea of how fast the fog rolls in along the river. Also note that it is not that high up, maybe 60 to 80 feet. There is a 3 or 4 minute time span between shots. Fog horns were blowing all night last night. I passed by the river on my way home and the fog was still low on the river.

The mysterious feel and isolation by fog really focuses us on the subject and makes this a very special shot.

I love atypical shots of any kind and shooting river traffic is one of my favorite things to do.

Wow. I've never seen anything like this before. Now that's what I'd call pea soup fog.

What can I say other than wow !! Cannot decide between them so I'm voting for all. They are so sharp Breland.

Thought it was little houses moving on the river (I'm really tired :) All these are really cool Breland. Good job!

I like the dead-on focus of this. An unusual angle to the river for this barge.

Wonderful shot of the tugboat and the barges. Thanks for showing me the fog.
