Brian, can you send me your current e-mail? Did you see the huge recent flurry of Camp Uraniborg correspondence? A very nice thread with many contributors! I can copy it to you. Someone tried to copy you(Joe Patterson, I think), but your address bounced. Peter Chapman has more photos, and we are wondering if they can be added to this website, because so many Uraniborgers are already aware of it. See you!

Bryan,

Thank-you for posting the Uraniborg photos. It's been a long time. I have a lot of happy memories of Uraniborg 71 & 72 in Rhode Island, 73 in the Mohave, and 74 at Big Bear. Where are you now ? I'm in Cupertino, CA and currently CEO of ViaCyte, Inc in San Diego. It would be great to catch up some time.

Bryan: Thanks for the Uraniborg page. I was there in '73 and '74. I enjoyed looking at your images. The camp was close to a utopian experience. I enjoyed reading the newletters. Somewhere I have some photos from Uraniborg. When I find them I'll scan 'em in and send them around. John Hodge

Stumbled across your Uraniborg pix. I'm an alum as well (71-73). The shots from the Newbury Springs and Mt Whitney brought a smile to my face. I have many very warm memories of the camp, its terrific staff and the activities. I've got quite a few photos myself of these years and pulled a few slides out last night to compare. Some of mine are remarkably similar to yours. We might have been side by side when they were taken.

I was especially pleased to see the images of Joe's letters. Although I haven't seen them for 30 years, I remember them quite clearly! Also saw my name in the camper's list. I know the whereabouts of a few of the campers (Joe, Dave Dundee, Trude Kleinschmidt), but haven't seen nor heard from the others in decades.

Hi Bryan! Could you please share with me how you took that fantastic photo of the three clown loaches. They are the same size as mine. I have a digital camera, but I've never been able to take a photo like yours. Thanks for any help you can give me. Bob

Hello, Bryan-

My name is Nola Blanton, and I am a graphic designer in Denton, TX. I
am in the process of designing an environmental brochure for the
College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Texas, and I'd
like to use your image of the arrowhead in it. It's a great image!

The brochure would include a copyright credit for the image with your
name. Please let me know if it would okay with you for me to use the
image. If you'd like, I can e-mail you a sample of how it will be used
in the layout.

Thanks for your consideration!

Bryan: You da man. I wish I could compose shots like yours. Maybe you could give me some hints some time. Look at my gallery rrice20147. My shots aren't even close to yours, but some hints from you might improve my handiwork. Thanks and again, great shots.
