Hey all, Yes, I remember the '72 RI aurora, hard to forget that! I may move these images to a Picasa album at some point, I don't use pbase all that much any more.

Hello Camp Uraniborg Alumni, What a trip to discover these images. Thanks for posting them Bryan. I too swam in the pond as it felt so good in the hot desert heat. Just watch out for the catfish! Do you guys remember the aurora in Rhode Island? --Richard S. Simons III, Uraniborg '72 and '73.

Dear Bryan, I see things in these pictures from Uraniborg '73 (Mojave) that I thought I would NEVER see again -- such distant, wonderful memories. THANK YOU SO MUCH! That 12-inch f/10 Cave was really my favorite; I can't believe I can see it again in these images. Also, I SWAM in that mud-hole pond! (Now dried up; I was there a few years back, as I mentioned.) really, Really, REALLY NEAT to see these long-lost images. They also help prove how Camp Uraniborg was was ahead of the curve, when it came to embracing Dobsonian technology. More later -- I'm on my way to the airport in Maui! --John W.
