I have three puggles and to tell you the truth they are a hand full. One is Duracell and he seems to never to run out of energy. I take for hikes, swims, etc. The other two are pretty calm. They will enjoy anything and evrything. When they do something wrong I say corner, they go and stay there until I say they can come out.

loved your pictures. We have a puggle as well - 9 month old - hefty 27lb Diesel. We love him so much. He takes turns sleeping each night in rotation between 3 different kids. He is a great family pet! We are thinking of getting another female that looks similar to yours. Ours is an unusual tri-color one. We love him that way.

Hello! Tucker is so handsome! He looks very similar to my puggle - Hagrid! The only thing is....my puggle is only 6 months and is already 40lbs. He isn't over weight just very large.....have you met a Puggle that large before and do you think he's going to get any bigger?

How old is Tucker now? My puggle, Chloe, is 9 months old and she is only 15 lbs. The vet said she won't get much bigger, and I hope he's right. We also have a 7 month old Lab that is 103 lbs so I don't want two big dogs. How big was Tucker at 9 months old and how old is he now and his current weight?

Hi Declan, I live in Pennsylvania and when we were deciding on getting a puggle your gallery won us over with Tucker. WE now have Duke age 9 months and he is only 19 pounds. Your Tucker and our Duke have very similar looks.

well it took me a long time to find the kind of dog that i wanted. I havent yet owned a dog but when i did a research paper on puggles it caught my attention because not only are they so adorable when they are little but they stay adorable when they get older. They are the most cutest crossbreed anyone can imagine. Puggles are the prettiest dogs. I learned about their apperance obviously, then their history, their personalities from the pug and the beagle bred in the puggle, and i saw where they can be boughten from threw the internet. They arnt that expensive but im pretty sure once i own one they will be expensive. I dont want a dog that will stay tiny tiny because there is no fun in them but a puggle doesnt get tremendesly big, they are average maybe a little smaller and thats what i like. Maricela*

I actually have a puggle named Tucker as well. They are the best dogs. My Tucker is a lot darker but still has the fawn look to him. When he gets mad he has a mohawk that stands up all along his back.

We adopted a 12 week old puggle from a shelter almost 2 years ago (purchased from a breeder and the owner found out having a puppy was to much work). We love him so much! He has the best personality, gets along great with the cat and has the signature curly Q tail and bubble eyes. Thank you for encouraging folks to adopt from shelters. Happy birthday, Tucker!

Hi--I just love the pictures of Tucker. He looks like a pretty special little man. My favourite is the very first picture "Upclose & Personal." I try to get decent pictures of my dogs and they just want to sit on my feet so I know how hard it is to get the "perfect" shot. We have started raising Puggles here in Central Alberta, as I also raise both Beagles and Pugs it seemed to be a good fit. The Puggle seems to smooth out the Beagle and also helps to eliminate the breathing problems that Pugs often experience. I really like Tucker's colour -- the litter that I just had are all a bit darker but I guess they get that from their dad, Sprite, he has a lot of dark hair going down his back. Our next planned litter is with my Lily -- she's a 13" Beagle with quite a bit of white on her. It should be interesting to see how much white the puppies have on them. Again, I really enjoyed the pictures. TRACY

Most pics of puggles show them with long, beagle-like ears. My puggle, Beatrix, has short ears just like Tucker--and I was worried she wan't "normal"! Thank you for the great pics.

Awwwww! Tucker is soooo cute! I live in the Uk so it's really hard to find a puggle, but after some hard, long searching I found a place and its taking about 9 hours to get there and back! Its all worth it though and i can;t wait to get my baby puggle, especially after seeing how cute your one is! Just out of interest, the breeder said to me that i had a small puggle but on average how big do they grow in size, not weight? Thanks!

Tucker, as everyone has said is so cute!! We have a beagle, my husband desided he needed a playmate and told some friends of ours. Two days later, they called to say there father was driving thru the country, and found a puppy. It was Febuary at the time. My husband drove two hours to bring him home. Yes, he is a puggle. We named him Winston Pee, ha ha. I'm very glad we have a puggle, they make great pets! Thanks for your website.

I have so far found out that she is very east to train, I have been very pleased. Our puggle, whose name is Lucy (for all the loose skin she has) is only 9 weeks old and looks just like Tucker. Tucker is so cute. I was lucky enough to have a Puggle literally walk into my life after Hurricane Katrina. While visiting a friend in my hometown New Orleans, this cute little puggle walked right into his house, rolled over on her back for my to scratch her belly. She is truly the sweetest dog I have ever met. Daisy Doodle as I call her now, has a wonderful home, goes to work with me and has a big yard to play in. My husband and I were looking for a pug and stumbled across a puggle in a Humane Society (how lucky were we!!!), we fell in love with him immediately and bought him on the spot. He was only in the shelter for less than a day when we rescued him. He is still a puppy and is the most wonderful dog in the world. The best breed we have ever owned. We will never buy another breed. Our Lex is out pride and joy. He brings smiles to everyone who meets him. It is wonderful to have such a precious dog that EVERYONE wants to take home with them. Tucker is beautiful. I am so happy more people are discovering and owning these wonderful, animated, good-natured, happy and full-of-life treasures!!!! Thank you for sharing him with the world! :)

Great looking PUGGLE!!! When a new crossbreed hits the mainstream often you have breeders that fail to strive for the same goals. Because the Puggle is in such great demand I have seen maybe Puggles that do not look right. If there was a standard to follow I believe Tucker would be it. Great site!

HI, I have a Puggel as well here in Salem, NH. Her name is Krystal and she is the joy of our family. I find the only problem with a Puggel is they think they are human... this poses a problem when you try to get into your side of the bed at night :-) Other then that.I find them to be an almost perfact dog for any type of owner. We're interested in getting a puggle. Do they chew on things accessively (like new furniture)? Do they have a natural tendency to jump on people? Are their nails difficult to manage? We have a friend with a boxer and he jumps on you with his really sharp nails and it's so painful. These are some of our concerns, so it would be good to hear from people who own puggles.

We spent several months looking to adopt a puggle or similar. We ended up buying two for separate households. They are great, active pups requiring a lot of attention! In metro NYC, be prepared to spend upwards of 1000.00 for these cuties - we managed to spend much less through negotiating for two. They look exactly like Tucker as a pup - we can only hope that they look and behave like Tucker the adult. Thanks for the website! It is nicely done. A

Yes, what a cute Puggle. I invite you to check out our Puggle in my Gallery. I liked your NOTE above. We got our Puggle from a Shelter. People do NOT understand how hyper Puggles can be. Mixing an indoor dog with an outdoor dog causes some confusion in the Puggles. Your Puggle is the perfect color, and I see the slight nose wrinkle too.

I have a pug and want a puggle now, is it only possible with males pugs and female beagels or can you do it in the reverse. Female pugs and male beagals? I would think if you found a smaller beagel it would work. Let me know if you have any info?

First of all, Tucker is adorable!!! My husband and I have 2 puggles, a brother and sister. They are wonderful dogs, but the thing that people don't understand, is that they are a mix breed and they all end up looking differently. Our female looks like a pug and our male looks more like a beagle. Not that it matters to us, but most people only have the idea of the puggle puppy and don't know too much about them. We have seen a lot of puggles lately, as they are so popular now, and they have all looked so different...color, size, features.

The plural of "photo" is "photos", not "photo's" which is how you spelled it. "'s" is never the way to make any word plural. It is only possessive, so for example "photo's" would be the correct spelling if you were describing "the photo's frame". Cute dog anyway.

Had never heard of the breed until I saw a photo in a magazine today--had to do some Pbase 'sploring when I got home & had Internet acceess. Absolutely darling! Partial to big dogs myself, but this guy could really win me over. Didn't think there could be any puppies as cute as Rotts or Akitas, but....... :-)

I have two puggles just over one year old, Quinn (black) and Tessa (fawn colored) they are brother and sister. I have had dogs, but these puggles are incredible. They win over everyone. I think a puggle is the best breed out there.

Tucker is so precious! We have a little puggle named Brutus (we're Ohio State fans, can you tell?) and we love him so much! He just turned four months last week and is the most adorable, cuddly, mischievous little thing ever! Thanks for sharing your pictures. I really enjoyed seeing Tucker from the time he was a pup to full grown.

I can't believe how much my 4 month old puggle looks like yours! In the facial expressions, the way they lay, and yawn! Laugh. My puggle is 3/4 pug and 1/4 beagle, so I'm curious to see when he grows up just how big he will be!

So cute! I'm away from my puggle, and I miss him so much. Puggles are amazing dogs...they're a lot of fun and so adorable! Hunter only barked occasionally, but sometimes when we took him to the dog park he would make this deep bay like a beagle...it was actually kind of interesting.

i've always wanted a dog but since I live in an apt. i can't have one. My dog choices have always changed (from malti poo, pugs, pekingese) and I've finally settled on a puggle. Perfect kind of dog for me! I love the pictures of Tucker! He's such an adorable dog! I especilaly like this baby pictures, he was a cute puppy!!! I hope you post more Tucker pictures especially recent ones. I would love to see how this new breed of dogs evolve! Great job!

Tucker is 33lbs. He doesn't bark very often, but when he does it's loud! I wouldn't say he bays like a beagle, but he sure can bark! He spends a lot of his day sleeping. We are two full time working owners and he doesn't mind us not being there during the day - he just sleeps!

My daughter is considering getting a puggle..... how big (weight-wise) to they get? Are they barkers like beagles? Do they need constant attention, meaning would they be good for two people who work full time??

I'm very new to this breed (just finding out about them a few months ago) but your wonderfuly pictures of Tucker have moved the puggle into my number one dog breed spot. Do you mind taking a few more of him with your wine??? My boyfriend isn't a big fan of dogs but LOVES wine so maybe a dog with wine will bring him over to the dark side!
