Franconia

The Franconian region is, culturally and historically defined, for the most part in the political state of Bavaria. Not all Franks like to be called Bavarian. You usually keep a little distance from the Bavarian brothers and sisters in the south and pay attention to the Franconian identity. A Scotsman is not called an "Englishman" either. The two largest cities of Franconia are Nuremberg and Würzburg. Franconia, as part of Germany, has a high quality of life. In the Worldwide Quality of Living Survey by Mercer in 2010, the city of Nuremberg was one of the top 25 cities in the world in terms of quality of life and came sixth in Germany.
