CTB1 is an extremely faint supernova remnant in Cassiopeia. Accordingly, it is very rarely imaged, while retrieving detail from within the nebula, as well as the Ha clouds surrounding it, is rather difficult.

During the last new moon my dear friend Tal Faibish and I have decided to take CTB1 as a joint project - joining two powerful tools: my 2.8-8 CF (Carbon Fiber) POWERNEWT, riding upon his ASA DDM60 (all put together within 1 hour or so, at our favorite site out in the desert).

The system worked perfectly in tandem, and we lazily went through the night acquiring one 20 min. unguided shot after the other. I admired the Astrodon 5nm Ha filter's performance, with such a short focal length.

Since so much detail exists in this image, I decided to bring higher resolutions to allow having a close look at everthing that goes on inside it.
