These Pictures were all taken with my Canon EOS 10D, 1D MKII, 5D, or D30. The lenses were the 100-400L IS,400 f5.6 L and the 500 f4 IS L more recently with scattered shorter lenses. Venues varied from my backyard in Tupelo to St. Maarten.

Dr. Housley, there are some spectacularly beautiful images here, and I applaud them all-- from the “humble” sweet shrub to the “showy” egrets. The birds in flight are simply breathtaking and ethereal, and I never knew a pelican could be so stately a fowl. The sunsets are stunning, and some of the backyard birds really do look as if they are posing, with a somewhat indulgent hauteur, for their portraits. Thanks for this special view through your lens.

Very beautiful photos! I keep trying and trying to get good bird portraits, but the darn things won't hold still! Enjoyed this gallery very much!

Hi George, Viewed your Bird Images, very nice presentation. Great camera, only as good as the photographer behind the lens. You have a great "eye" for composition, keep up the good work.
