Ko Phangan

Ko Phangan or Ko Pha Ngan or Koh Phangan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand in South East Thailand. It is famous for its full moon party at Hat Rin Beach and as a backpackers destination. Ko Phangan has two sister islands and sandwiched between the larger Ko Samui to the south and the smaller Ko Tao to the north.

It is about a 30 minutes boat ride north of Ko Samui, has become a good alternative for those who find Samui too crowded, too expensive or just too huge to explore.
