Absolutely horrible.
1) Hu does not deserve to be the mayor of Taichung, aside from this tragedy, Taichung has suffered from various other mismanagements.
2) This problem certainly needs to be deal with, however, the Taiwanese public also needs to be educated on issues associated with pet keeping. The public needs to be aware that hardship exists in pet keeping; the numbers of strayed dogs in Taiwan are simply unacceptable.
3) Hopefully this tragedy will surface the serious problems of mistreating strayed pets to the country of Taiwan.

This incident has gained quite an attention (rightfully), I've read it from an BBS I reguarly visits: Anti-Media.tw
