Postcards From Coron, Palawan, Philippines

Even though Super Typhoon Haiyan(Yolanda in the Philippines) passed directly over this area, the mountainous terrain protected many parts of the island from the devastating wind. I was part of seven family members that planned this trip prior to the typhoon and we went anyway knowing we would help the locals from our tourist pesos.
