Toyota Hilux Double Cab 1993. Our truck from 2001 - 2005. This Hilux truck was modified 1993 for 38" tires. The body has been lifted 10 cm from the side members. It has Land Cruiser coil suspension (three link) at the rear & orginal flexitores at front. The rear axle was moved back for 14 cm for an extended wheelbase. The reason is a better suspension and movement of the truck in bad ground conditions. Tires are 38X12,5R15 Mudder, alloy wheels 15X12,5, shocks from Land cruiser at the rear & Koni at the front, Arctic Trucks mudflaps, auxiliary fuel Tank (at all 150 liters), remote door locks & vehicle security system, 4 fog lights, alloy sidestep running-boards, fender extenders (stone-protected), 529:1 lower gear ratios, first aid kit & fire extinguiser, two air compressors (one for the 100% air-diff. locker & the other for the tires (we take the air in the tires down to 2-5 punds when driving in heavy snow, on icecaps & down to 10-15 pounds in bad road conditions), snorkel, roof rack, towing hitch (front and rear) & electricity plug for a winch, hi-lift mud jack, GPS, laptop, CB, VHF, NMT, CD & a special vehicle registration for off road driving.
