The "Palacio de Comunicaciones" or "Casa de Correos" was designed by architects Palacios & Otamendi at the beginning of the 20th century. It served for nearly one-hundred years as Madrid (Spain)'s main post office and telecommunications center. Now, completely restored and shining again in it's old splendor, it is going to serve a different purpose: as the new City Hall and—at the same time—as a cultural hub.
