I'm still learning with my D70 and I hope I can take pictures as good as yours.
I'm so lucky to have a wife that support my hobby and I adore her so much.

Thank you for your compliment.
Most of the pictures have minor level adjustment and minor USM applied.
The 3D Matrix Metering is very good at getting a good exposure and you can applied in-camera sharpening if you want to get that "look" that you want out of camera.
I think best digital camera is subjective and depends on your specific need.
But, D70 is a great camera with enough features to keep you busy.

I'm beginning to wonder if the D70 isn't the best digital camera out there. Real good quality on those pictures--nice shots too. Are they right out of the camera?
