hubba hubba... this male little egret was alone lingering at one of the corners of the lagoon’s
edge when i spotted him. yeah… it’s a boy! lol – well, being intimately familiar with my feathered
friends enabled me to quickly prepare myself for the unexpected, just as i was (and am). a second
after i had photographed the little egret’s face, it suddenly, and tenderly, stretched it’s wing… u
can say I’m nutts but i see so much sensuality on any movement they make .lol well, under normal
circumstances, the viewfinder would have been away from my eye and i would have missed the more
expressive photograph. talking about the composition of this picture: there i was again (with
particularly contrasted lighting, reflections from the dark green lagoon and the bright, golden
sunlight in the background) with a white subject and no middle-toned area to catch the subject
perfectly. so, i needed low the exposure (underexposure) to keep from burning out (overexposuring)
the highlights on this egret’s neck and wings.

Estirando (alongamento)…. ♫♫
hubba hubba... esta garçota branca (macho) estava sozinha, comtemplativa, na margem, num dos cantos
da lagoa, quando eu o notei. Sim… é um menino! lol – bom, por estar intimamente familiarizada com
os meus amigos emplumados, me permitiu a preparar-me depressa para o inesperado, da mesma maneira
que eu era (e sou). Um segundo depois que eu havia fotografado a face da garçota branca, ele de
repente, e ternamente, estira a sua asa... você pode dizer que eu sou doida mas, vejo tanta
sensualidade em qualquer movimento que eles fazem.rsrs - bom, sob circunstâncias normais, o visor
teria estado longe do meu olho e eu teria perdido esta fotografia mais expressiva. falando sobre a
composição desta foto: lá estava eu novamente (com uma luz particularmente contrastante, reflexos
do verde escuro da lagoa e a luz solar dourada e luminosa, ao fundo) com um assunto branco e
nenhuma área de tonalidade-média para capturar o “assunto” perfeitamente. Assim, eu precisei baixar
a exposição (exposição insuficiente) para evitar de queimar (exposiçãoexagerada) os destalhes no
pescoço e asas desta garçota.
