For the second part of our tour, we travelled from Brig to Chur on the Glacier Express and stayed in the Hotel Stern for 3 nights. Rail trips were made to:

- The small town of Poschiavo near the Italian border, with a short stop in St Moritz on the way back.
- The nearby ski resort of Arosa
- Cologne, along the Rhine valley, where we stayed overnight on the way back to London via Brussels.
