Cacti can be very interesting and so different than flora of the temperate parts of the world. My interest is in showing the beauty of the flowers here in the southwestern USA. Most of these images were shot here in the Northwest Valley just west of Phoenix, Arizona. I won't even attempt to identify the genus and variety other than in a very general way. The identification of the cacti family can be very complex and beyond the scope of my interest. If anyone wants to send me specific IDs for any of these images I'll use the information in a caption.
