The Summer Palace

These pictures were all shot at the Summer Palace. I was there for less than 4 hours and I am pretty sure I could have spent 4 days. Our time was maximized by being able to walk across the frozen lake in the middle of the grounds which makes for some unique views of the surrounding buildings. I would like to go back here when I have more time.

amazing place, and yes, fully worthy of more time, but your photos have captured a special feeling. I love the murals, the architecture, the frozen lake, everything!
