5/20 - Kicking It Old School

Home, Office

This shot is of some hardware that is at least 6 years old. It is from the company I worked for
before my current company bought us out. The customer I was in Chicago with this week has several
thousand of these units and needs a new custom load of firmware for them so yesterday I blew the dust
of this one and went to work on it. Very different from what we do with our units today but sort of
like riding a bicycle. Once I got used to pedal power again it worked ok.

And don't touch the shiny red wire!

This is Vertical Month for some of us PADers. Check out who is participating at either
David Clunas's May PAD page or Bob Floyd's Vertical PAD Topic.

Ah yes. They don't make them like that anymore. A bit like cameras really...

Is that a resistive fratostat by-pass circuit coupled to the DiskOnChip?
