4/17 - Sunset

Home, Backyard

The colors of this rose reminded me of what the Texas sky often looks like late in the evening.

This afternoon I revisited the spiderweb from yesterday's PAD but this time I took the Macro lens.
Guess I now know which one I should have taken to begin with, huh? These shots were really tough
because the breeze was blowing enough to move the web almost continuously. If I opened the aperature
enough to increase the DOF to compensate I did not have a fast enough shutter to stop action. I
could not block the wind because it was coming from almost due west so would have blocked the light
from the setting sun.
