Sometime between Saturday afternoon and today my wife's roses have exploded all over the backyard. This is just one of them.
I was intrigued by the way the petals appeared nearly velvet in the afternoon light.

I am flying out of here tomorrow. While luck, tomorrow's PAD will be from one of the most photographed places on earth.
