Our return flight to Manila was delayed a bit, but for the first time we were glad these flights aren't always on time. It meant we can make one final pitstop at that romantic look-out point with the lighthouse on a hill, the place called Naidi on the island of Batan.
I spotted the tiny wildflowers around the lighthouse and promptly went to work shooting macros. These flowers were everywhere. I wish I had more time to scour the grounds, but then there's always tomorrow and another place to shoot...
(To understand the scale of these flowers, if a flower filled half the entire height of the photograph, it would measure 6mm. That would be about the length of a single grain of rice. Yes, they're that small! These photos were shot in Batanes)
i love how you take close up photos its really nice

Ang galing galing mo! I didn't realize you have such a breathtaking collection of works. I am not much of a photography buff but somehow there's something in your pictures, coupled with your commentaries, that just captures one's attention. Your works are just awesome! I showed your works to my wife. You know, she is more into the visual arts than me. She paints and, modesty aside, her paintings have also received their share of kudos from friends. She was also very impressed and awed with your works. Congratulations, more power and keep the pictures coming!
