Thank you for the beautiful visit to Savedug. My late mother Maria Canela Merina was from Savedug and her house is still there, such a beautiful place. I am planning to bring my husband and twin girls Tasiana and Corina there this summer. I went in 1982 on my mom and Dad's first trip back home in 35 years (my dad, Catalino Casanova Merina, was from Basco) an incredible visit, and then again with my husband and 2 sisters and nephew Roman in 1992. It has been too long since I've been back and seen everyone and I am so looking forward to returning. I am proud to be the daughter of Ivatans and know of these beautiful islands and people.
Give my best to everyone there Noli and colleagues. You have captured what we know and love.
