Here's part II of the bark images. They look much better enlarged but the constraints of the net demand smaller download space. The new bark often reveals some interesting subtle colors and textures. The play of light and shadow on the fresh bark create intriguing effects. Bark breaks in long strips, or small fragments, or large chunks. The abstract compositions are limited only by one's imagination. Here are a few more of my bark series. Nature is the master designer.
