Island-hopping in Bohol

It's summer again and beautiful beaches beckon. My first stop this summer is Panglao Island off the coast of Bohol, specifically the Bohol Beach Club. This resort has been around for some time, but you can't tell from their website how beautiful the place really is. Highly recommended.

We went dolphin watching near Pamilacan Island, snorkeling on Balicasag Island, and discovered a gem of a place not found on Bohol tourism guides: Isla Virgen. (The island itself is tiny, but the sandbar is the longest I've seen. Relaxing in less than a foot of water after walking nearly a kilometer from the island is an experience!) Bohol indeed has a lot to offer. Enjoy.
