Chase, I just saw your question. The answer to your question is not simple and would take forever to write (assuming I even have 'the' answer which I don't). One thing I'll say is that over sharpening whether it's in Registax Wavelets or USM is usuallly the culprit. In Registax Wavelets try using Gaussian mode and don't be afraid to experiment with setting the higher 'levels' to negative numbers. Specifics don't make sense since Wavelets processing tends to be very image dependent (scale, degree of sharpness, etc. ) Hope this helps a little. Bob

I really like the tonality of your images. I have just started using MAP processing on my images and I am having trouble mainiainting tonal control. (overly contrasty) Do you mind sharing some technique guidelines on how you process your images?
