The Omani enclave of Madhah is completely surrounded by UAE territory in the Hajar Mountains near the Gulf of Oman. As you progress up the Wadi behind the village, it becomes difficult to tell which is Omani territory and which belongs to the Emirate of Sharjah. A detour off Wadi Madhah leads to a natural spring, the Wadi Shis Pools.
