I emigrated as a young child with my family in 1956. Great to see pictures of Columbo and the Wolvendaal church since I am working on updating the family Tree.An old ancester, Jacob Lempfert was married in this church in August 4, 1782.

I visited Negombo and Columbo a few years ago but didn't take enough photos. I really regret it now. Thank you for so many lovely photos that reminded me of what an inspiring time I had!

Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos of Colombo. I lived in Colombo for 4 years about 20 years ago and have thought about going back for a holiday many times. Your photos have convinced me to visit in january.
