tour of lotus land.#1
This is the famous gardens of Lotus Land in Santa Barbara.
The fire started just a couple of miles from this wonderful place. This is an example of some of the homes lost. Movie stars, artists and even a religious sanctuary full of irreplaceable relics..even Westmont collage parts gone..1 death so far, over 3000 acres mostly populated areas gone.

Another view of the pool showing the waterfall. The huge clam shells are used for the fountain collected years ago. The pool and surroundings where built in the early 20's before restrictions.

path and pebbles.
Not a very good shot, but this is all hand laid pebble work. It borders most of the paths around the main house.
