Philadelphia Mosaic w/ Isaiah Zagar

***I get all kinds of visitors to this gallery! Please post a comment to let me know how you found this gallery. Thanks!!***

I attended a class in Philadelphia taught by South St. artist Isaiah Zagar. This mosaic mural was created on April 29-30, 2006, by Isaiah and 21 "artisans" (he was the artist, we were his artisans.) It is located on the corner of 8th and Montrose, a couple of blocks away from Philly's Italian Market. The mosaic took about 10 hours to complete. You can view more of Isaiah's work at his website http://www.isaiahzagar.com If you also took this class and would like one of these pictures in hi-res, please send me an email.
