On Mother's Day we visited the Garfield Park Conservatory to see the "Niki In The Garden" mosaic exhibit. The mosaics were made by Niki de Saint Phalle. She is best known for her work on the sensual and overtly womanly "Nanas", which is French for "babes" or "chicks". She was born in France and raised in New York. She eventually moved to California until her death in 2002.
