Olona

Touchardia Latifolia. The long narrow leaves in most of these photos are a characteristic of the Kilauea-Mauna Loa population. In this area small olona and opuhe can look nearly identical, except for their flowers. The wet forest plants are fairly small (up to 6 feet) in stature, with small leaves. The kahuku mesic kipuka plant was huge, with stems 10 feet tall and leaves up to a foot long.
