I've only found a very small number of s. scrophularioides in scattered locations. Stenogyne Scrophularioides has distinctly small, dark and glabrous leaves. The leaves of younger vines can be deeply lobed, and leaf shape can vary greatly on a single plant. The flowers are usually white and fairly small, at about 1 cm long, with a shallowly divided calyx. If not the most impressive stenogyne, it is usually the most attractive. They tend to grow in shady muddy locations that pigs favor, and suffer greatly from pig disturbance.
