Sharpless 290

This relatively large but exceedingly dim object is located
about 2000 light years from earth in the constellation Cancer.
Sharpless 2-290 is a planetary nebula, the remnant of a dying
star.

Camera: SBIG STL-11000
Exposure: 9 1/2 hours through Luminance, RGB, and Hydrogen-alpha filters
Telescope: Hyperion 12.5"
