This spiral galaxy in Canes Venatici is about 40 million
light years from earth. With a diameter of 100,000
light years, it is about the same size as our Milky Way.
The faint arms of this galaxy seem to have been pulled
and warped by a neighboring galaxy (not visible in this image).
