This is Steve's classic marble style, the redwood scene taken from his surroundings in Northern California. Several butterflies flit around in the forest, with flowers below, and the moon shining brightly in the background. Beautiful and as classic as they come! Steve uses a layering technique to bring about these scenes, giving wonderful depth to what you see in the marble, really awesome in hand. Another definite must for the collection! This marble is about 12/100 of an inch out of round from front to back, which means the scene itself it still nice and round while the marble overall is a bit out of round. Signed 'SH 03'.
