This is one of the most complex and detailed gravity wells from Travis that I have ever seen. It features layer upon layer of geometric glass wonder, one of those marbles that makes your brain start to sizzle as you try and figure out how in the world he pulled that off! It is very deep and immensely beautiful on the inside, and then when you roll the marble over, your sense of wonder grows even deeper, because that backside is flat out STUNNING! The colors and the flow of the design are unmatched in beauty, just so magnificent. This marble was made back in 2009 during what I consider the greatest year of Travis' marble journey so far. It's just a fact that marble artists sometimes get on amazing rolls as everything they've worked for all compares together in wondrous harmony and color. There are SO many steps to these jewels that it's amazing it ever happens at all, but when it does, masters like Travis create pieces that really blow the mind.
