This mind blowing gem features an original and stunningly beautiful cab from Rose Roads. This is one of Jun's best and cleanest cabs to date, a truly stunning combination of sacred geometry and gorgeous color flow. Kousuke Oyama, aka Kinoko Heads, then wrapped this beauty with his legendary leather work. What makes this piece oooh so special is how Kousuke perfectly blended his design with the flow and vibe of Junichi's cab, a PERFECT mesh of style. The harmony between the glass and leather just sings. The cab by itself would be a legendary piece of glass art by itself, but the heights it is elevated to with that leather work is almost impossible to put into words. The leather wrap (which looks and feels like wood) is actually more amazing than the glass, since Kousuke is the only person in the world doing it, probably because he's the only one crazy enough to spend that many days on a piece this size, and it takes much longer than the glass work. The process he goes through to achieve a piece like this is excruciating! Soooo many tiny pieces of leather, soooo many steps in the process to bring this about. It is another testament to the brilliant Japanese tradition of perfection in tiny detail. This is one for the ages, an heirloom piece that will surely end up in a museum someday. But for now, you can actually wear this stunning work of art and show the world the mind boggling work that the Japanese are doing right now. It was made in early 2016.
